Wednesday Night

 This is me and all my roommates!  ... I know, there are so many of us.  From left to right, Lauren, Me, Marilyn, Jasmine, Melissa, and Susan. I think this is our first picture all-together!

My mom is coming in about an hour.  I live close to the airport so I get to see her before she goes to Montana for 10 days.  I'm dropping her off, going to my two classes today, then heading home to hang out with my family, friends, and Tyson is meeting me there too :).  I can't wait!

And for Halloween... at this point I think I am going to be  a Star Trek character (my mom gave me a perfect unitard for the costume) and/or a watermelon.  We'll see!

So many pretty things :).  I just have to learn how to make it all.  The crochet would be impossible for me though.  My mom worked as a seamstress for a designer in New York City while she pursued dance in her 20's so she is really good with a sewing machine.  I need to start learning her magic.  These beautiful, but expensive clothes can serve as inspiration!

So, I am having a really good day.  I had the last of my mid-term exams yesterday and don't have anything due until Friday.  A whole two days of semi-leisure, oh wow haha.  I've already read and done some homework today and I spent all morning reading through reviews for a new camera!  I was looking at YouTube videos comparing the Canon EOS 550 and the Nikon D90.  I am leaning towards the Nikon, it seems to have better picture quality, which in the end, is what I am looking for.  I have been antsy for a nice camera for a long time.  My dad just bought a new Canon and I have been wanting to test it out.  I'm actually going home this weekend (for halloweeeeeen!)... maybe I'll ask if I can fool around with it.  Fingers crossed!  

I really want to turn my blog into more of a personal one.  I really love posting editorials and such, and it's easier sometimes to do that than to make time to take pictures (or to just remember to bring my camera out...) but I would like to make the majority of my blog my life!  I want to share :), my parents would be so proud haha.  After all, the blogs I follow tend to be more personal fashion ones rather than editorials so I think I should produce what I like to see and read on other blogs. 

If anyone knows anything about the two cameras I mentioned, I would love to hear your thoughts.  It's a big investment to make so the more opinions I get the better!  I hope you all are having a lovely Wednesday evening, like myself.  Yayay! Life is so good.
