The Fabric Store

Hey hey hey! 

I went for a nice little trip to the fabric store with my mamma.  So many pretty things. 

It's about to be the last day of 2011! My oh my how time flies.  This was an amazing year, as are they all I suppose :).  This has definitely been an adventurous, positive one though; lots of growing up happened - without losing that goofy inner child.  I am so excited for the festivities tomorrow night! A few of my friends and I are conspiring to have a bonfire at a friends' house.  Hopefully that works out.  There is also a game of kickball scheduled for 5 a.m. New Year's Day.  No sleep!

Also, I posted my first look on lookbook.nu and I have gotten no Hypes as of yet.  For some reason I thought it would be instantaneous... silly me. 

2012 here I come!

Merry Christmas!  I am fiiiinally getting around to uploading the gazillion pictures I took on the roadtrip to Southern California.  It was warm and sunny, and Tyson's family was oh-so-sweet.  Tyson and I drove in a car behind his parents and one of his younger brothers, Ian.  It wasn't quite as nerve racking as I had predicted to meet almost his entire family, so that's good!

Sorry for the long delay in posts.  I don't think I have ever gone so long without updating the blog.

I had such a nice day today, despite feeling sick.  My mom picked me up around 11 a.m. and we spent the whole day sewing (and going to sign my brother out of his LAST DAY OF HIGHSCHOOL!).  Congratulations Raoul!

My mom and I didn't make anything new, but I got a chance to mend a lot of old clothes that have been aging in a box in my closet.  We fixed a total of eight articles of clothing, which means that the enormous amount of clothes that I brought back with me has been unnecessarily added to.

I will take pictures of the mended clothes tomorrow and post them :).

Tyson is coming into town after his last final tomorrow.  Hip hip hoooooray! His birthday is Sunday but we are leaving for our Southern California roadtrip the same day.  Silly to spend your birthday in a car, so I am taking him out to dinner Saturday night.  I ordered heels from Urban Outfitters and brought a fancy dress... and I have a surprise or two for him, but you'll have to wait for them too!

Break is so sweet and delicious.
