These Days

Three pictures from the past two days:

1) New graffiti that I happened upon on my way home this morning. It means "your truth" and I love that you can see the new paint splatters on the concrete below it.
2) After my dance class there is an Angola Capoeira class. I got scolded for taking pictures when I tried to get a better shot. Whoops! :)
3) My lovely friend and dance partner, miss Deia, stretching with me near the famous Lapa arches after dance class.

Sneaker Wedges!....?

This is a huge trend here in Rio, and I can find evidence to back up that it is happening in other parts of the world as well.  I can't decide if I like this or not.  Part of me feels like it defeats the whole purpose of wearing heels or wearing sneakers to combine the concepts... but then again, I have seen some pretty fabulous girls in pretty fabulous outfits pull it off.  Any thoughts?
