Last Adventure of 2013

On the last day of 2013 I took my doggy Zeus on a long hike.  We went to Upper Bidwell Park which is actually inside the city of Chico.  It is the 2nd largest city park in the whole U.S., right behind Central Park in New York City.  Bidwell Park is in fact the reason my parents chose to raise my brother and I here when they moved from New York City when I was three.  I am so lucky to have been raised in Missoula, Montana and Chico, California because they are two of the most beautiful places on the planet.  They have definitely made my love of this planet a deep one.

It is so nice to be alone (minus a silent, cute, adventurous animal companion) in nature.  The weather has been beyond gorgeous as well which makes hiking even more fun.  Cheers to vitamin D, fresh air, and me-time!!

Here are some photos of our hike:

So many fricken pictures of this scruff ball,
You're welcome?
