Lua | Moon

You know clothing has an SPF
It's penetrable
Even by spring sun
Lying on unfertilized grass
Grass
Not lawns
No artificial breed of green
Just soft stalks that bend and flutter
Grateful to caress the open palms of my hands
With their tiny fleece tentacles
Like peach fuzz
It makes a glow about your face
Like moonbeams that splay out in every direction
Soft light cold space halo
You have it
Would my palms have it if I didn't touch so much
Have the peachy softness of my fingerprints been
Lost
Replaced
By calluses
All for the sake of memories of texture
Are the hairs there to keep the pools of water
From forming rivers in the ridges of my tentacles
Hands
Dew drops on grass stalks
Have a mind of their own
In the canyons of your fold lines
They fold to grasp
To grasp at tangible moonbeams
No need to reach my peach
Your clothing
It's still penetrable
Even by midnight moon
